According to one of the most famous legends, a treasure trove of wealth left by bandits is hidden in the Komatinski Rocks. It is said that they hid their gold in one of the caves, but only the brave and pure of heart will be able to find it. Many treasure hunters have sought the treasure and have provided fodder for new legends. It is said that once two men managed to find part of the hidden gold coins, but then they could not have children and their lineages died out, because the gold was cursed by those who had hidden it there.

Another legend tells of two lovers who decided to get married secretly, against the wishes of their families. On their wedding day, an evil sorcerer cursed them, turning them into stone. To this day, the figures of the newlyweds, embracing forever, can be seen in the whimsical shapes of the rocks.

It is believed that at night, under the full moon, the nymphs descend from the mountain and gather in the meadow in front of the Komatinski Rocks. There they sing and dance until dawn, enchanting with their beauty anyone who is lucky enough to see them.

Another story gives hope to girls who want to conceive. One of the figures strikingly resembles the pregnant Mother Goddess from pagan times. As if the message is that wealth is not gold and money, but children!
