This challenging hike begins at Yavorov Hut, starting at an altitude of 1,740 meters. The journey involves a steep ascent of approximately 2 hours, taking you up to 2,760 meters where the Koncheto shelters are located. Shortly after, you’ll pass by Banski Suhodol Peak, the westernmost point of Koncheto Ridge at 2,884 meters, where you’ll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views.

The famous rocky ridge itself is an adrenaline-pumping experience. While it may seem daunting to inexperienced hikers, following the safety rope is essential to ensure a safe and enjoyable journey.

For those seeking an even more challenging adventure, consider continuing the hike to Kutelo 2 Peak, the easternmost point of Koncheto Ridge at 2,908 meters. This additional ascent offers even more stunning views and a greater sense of accomplishment.

On your descent, keep an eye out for the playful wild goats that often graze along the trails, adding a touch of local wildlife to your experience. The journey concludes near Banderitsa Hut, located at 1,810 meters. Here, you can relax and enjoy a well-deserved meal of delicious Bulgarian cuisine
